About Agustin Lanus

Currently a small handful of winemakers in the Calchaquí Valleys produce wines at the limit of where grapes can be grown. These vineyards are located in extremely isolated locations, making the time, resources and costs of maintaining the vineyards a challenge for even the most passionate winemaker. However, the superior quality of the wines produced justifies the effort, as the extreme temperature variations, higher levels of solar radiation and the long maturation period result in highly concentrated and complex wines. ​
