Our history and the valley have been united for more than 165 years.In 1850, a decade after the foundation of Cafayate, Flavio Niño and Plazaola decided to initiate the wine activity in this remote point of the map.At that time, when the region was not even a project of what would become, this visionary implanted its first white vines there.In the twentieth century, more precisely in 1938, Arnaldo Benito Etchart acquired this winery that belonged to his wife's family, Carmen Rosa, and began the development process that has led her to become what she is today: one of the most prestigious in Argentina.
